We wanted to create a truly unique Sun-Catcher that could take advantage of the unparalled beauty of 35mm movie film combined with natural light.  We start by taking two sections of glass that serve to protect the film segments which (you can switch out the film at a later date.
 
Build Process:  We cut 4 segments of film (about 8 film cells per segment) and position it within these glass sections.   We then build a hardwood frame to encapsulate the glass/film section within this hardwood frame.  Finally the film title and release date of the film itself are laser cut into the completed frame and a metal connection is added to allow the piece to hang from a window, etc. (a small silicone and metal hook is included to display it.)
