Film Size Comparison: 35mm vs. 70mm Imax

This is a brief description of the two major films that we utilize here in the studio. By far most are 35mm which was common to theatres for +100 years and has only recently been replaced by digitally generated images (we have about 1310 films in our 35mm collection).

The second and very rare film that we use (about 40 different titles) is 70mm IMAX film that is almost 4 x the size of 35mm movie film.
