We wanted to create a truly unique Sun Catcher that could take advantage of the unparalled beauty and size of actual IMAX movie film combined with natural sunlight.  We start by taking a custom acrylic frame within which two seconday acrylic slabs (with magnets to secure together) pivot on upper & lower pins) allowing the inner section to rotate.  This serves to  sandwich two large frames of IMAX 70mm film (In this case a scene from the Dark Knight Rises, Star Wars, Interstellar & Harry Potter) and further protects the film which can be switched out if required at a later date. 
 
Size:   This piece measures  almost 11" High  (L27.3cm. x H12cm).
